Omi and Carrier Thermostats

We worked with United Technologies to design two smart thermostats - for Carrier and Omi, a new subscription-based home service. Rather than styling thermostats like tech products, we designed something simple and quiet that could blend into any home. The shapes are neutral and quiet with a soft display. The thermostat can do simple functions like changing the temperature and showing alerts. We pushed complicated functions (like schedules and energy reports) to an app. This keeps costs down and avoids cluttering the thermostat with complex interactions.
